5th August Youm-e-Istehsal (Day of Exploitation)
On this solemn occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir, we stand shoulder to shoulder with our Kashmiri brothers and sisters, resolutely rejecting India’s illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019, which stripped Jammu and Kashmir of its special constitutional status. This grave violation of international law and human rights remains a dark chapter in the region’s history. Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON, Engr Amir Muqam, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on KA&GB, Mr. Shabir Ahmed Usmani, Federal Secretary KAGB & SAFRON, Mr. Ali Tahir, Additional Secretary KAGB & SAFRON, Mr. Kamran Rehman Khan, the Joint Secretary GB Council, Mr. Sudher Khan Khattak, and employees of the GB Council, along with their families, participated in the solidarity walk organized by the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan.
